    Mage blink bug

Okay there's a bug that NORMALLY works, it gets rid of fall damage as a mage.

If you're afraid your going to die from a high jump, get very close to the ground, and BLINK.

You'd wind up on the ground without fall damage, as I said this NORMALLY works, I've found sometimes it does not, I dont know why just happens. Works on LIVE servers.

It works because you are blinking forward, and only a little bit above the ground as if you had jumped. Lag can kill you from fall damage though.

Light feathers are extremely cheap and drop off skettis birds, or barrens birds (for lowbies)

my hypothesis on why this works.

I believe that there are height zones. My explaination of this... is when you fall, etc, you fall through planes that act as limiters on your location in the Z axis. This is why you see mobs seem to hop up invisible stairs when they bug out in the air, or why when you see a warrior charge from somewhere high to somewhere low, you sort of see the same effect. Heres sort of my diagram on how this translates:

Is there any Mage that doesn't know this?

I've never played or even created a Mage and I knew this when I was level 20.

if done incorrectly u fall, take the damage, then blink back upwards and fall again. Taking the damage twice, so ice block/slow fall is a much easier and safer way to do this. But if you practice enough you can get it like 9/10 anyway.
