How to level from ~86 to 90 with 1 quest. Easy Fast way.

Hi folks,

I'm posting here because, yesterday I was leveling my pally (from 84). Choose Uldum as soon as I could go there because I love it.
The thing is that once I arrived to a quest named Defense of Nahom (The Defense of Nahom - Quest - World of Warcraft), I observed that it could be xploited, and so I did.

The quest is pretty much easy. You command few mobs with a special action bar, and you kill the bad guys. Every mob GIVES YOU EXP, and you kill tons of them.
You can complete the quest in 2min aprox (probably faster if you improve, my best timing was 1:30 aprox).
Unrested, you get 7.16% per run. From 0% to 100% in 13.9 runs. Obviously, twice faster while rested. (Values tested at lvl 89).

Overall, 14 runs are ~28min, for a level with this method.

Is a level every 30 mins decent at 86 though? Esp with flying?

I'd say yes, in Cataclysm you spend so much time by flying from A to B, or you may get ganked, or you are just lazy of doing "smart" quests.

This way is pretty easy, effective and "slacker". It alows you to grind various characters with no effort.

But talking about numbers:

You get 7.16% of level every 2min30sec (assuming you invest time in abandoning, reaccepting the quest and starting it). In 2min30sec are u able to get 7.16%? On the whole progression from 85+ to 90? It's possible, but it will need more effort.

I take it we dont turn in the quest? Just get the quest, do it until its complete, abort and start again? This is an important part thats missing.

The video shows the method in PoV. It's better to see a video than read a guide that it's maybe not intuitive.

I can add that you do not need to cancel the quest. It is counted when you kill the big last mob, and experience is given mostly for the small ones, when he came, just leave the combat machine control interface (I have to press 0 in elvui). And again speak with the lieutenant. Sori for bad English.

Thanks this works great with DMF buff. I am getting about 10% of my level @ 86, and im skipping the last big guy. Just dismounting, abandoning quest, and picking up quest again.

Late reply but... RAF is nerfed. It gives roughly the same boost as heirlooms, and does NOT stack with heirlooms

They nerfed recruit a friend on Jan 1st I found this out after i bought an account to do this... So now raf only gives +50% bonus and it does NOT stack with heirlooms, i believe it also doesnt stack with anything else anymore also.

Appears to be fixed/nerfed as of Today's Maintenance: 6-19-2018. I only got about 16xp rested with exp buff per mob kill.

Yep, its fixed, now it grants 14xp/mob.
