Nighthold gear pre-release

Hey guys. Stumbled upon this on MMO.
Some say the mobs don't drop anything, but some have those items. Maybe blizz fked up some loot tables?

How do you get in the Nighthold trash area? MMOC forum says you can glider in from Dalaran, but I was wondering if you had any clarification?

Farmed the Mobs but got no Loot... anyone an Idea?

pickpocket a bunch of mobs, no loot table. There must be more to this

been farming the mobs at the door for 1 hour, nothing

All starts here:
I got a ring and a chest from Cache of Nighthold Treasures, how? : wow

he says he got the loot from the weekly quest of your class hall for completing Emerald Nightmare raid.(dont know how he got not 1 but 2 items from 1 cache). he ticket a Gm:
"I got a response from the ticket. The GM said that there is nothing wrong and congratulated me for the items"
then after a while:
"Received a email right now, they removed both items"

Dont know if he says the truth about getting them from cache because its strange that he got 2 items in 1 cache. He got them in the same day though thats for sure

I heard something about MCing the mob in sodapoppin's stream yesterday, not sure how it relates tho

I suppose if you MC it, and someone on the other faction kills it, it could change something. But I have no clue about this. Seems like that guy got "lucky"

I mean you could just go THROUGH the door.

There is actually no concrete information on this. You can fly into the area but the mobs aren't dropping anything. Big discussion over at mmo-champ.

Methods for go there:

1. Glide from dalaran
2. die at door (you'll get aggro and dmg from mobs) and then fly with ghost over the door and resurrect


Killed a mob with 14k nothings drops.

The most likely explanation is that these are the same trash mobs that are in the Nighthold raid which means they'd have the same loot tables which would mean that they drop BoEs with extremely low drop chance. I wouldn't recommend farming them as the items will probably be removed anyways.

those mobs cannot be pickpocket, meaning no loot table.

But I wouldn't be surprised if there was one that blizzard didn't remove, just don't know which one and where.
