Easy/Fast Mark of Preys
TL;DR: After reaching Honored, you can farm Neutral Mobs in Alterac Valley for quick & easy Marks.
So after you unlock the Talon's Vengeance Faction, you can farm Mark of Prey via Ivory Talon.
Sadly I do not have found a way to farm the first 90 marks quick, so you have to do them the normal way.
After you got to Honored tho, you can buy Ivory Feather which does work in BG's and procs on every single lasthit on every unit.
And while it does indeed work on totems & pets as well, the quickest way is to farm neutral mobs in Alterac Valley
Dont forget to use a reputation buff before using the Marks. Darkmoon Fairy or Hallow's End both give 10%.

Will be unlocking TV later today and since I'm also grinding out prestige, taking this into AV is a great idea. Thanks for the tip!

Skirmish also resets the first item. So if you get nuked while farming the first marks and end up with a long cd, just skirmish for reset.

You need 3000 rep for friendly and if you use 25 tokens with 500 starting rep, you finish at friendly with 0 tokens.

The quickest method in AV is definitely going into the mines. Took me 3 AV's to hit exalted from honored. Was getting about 120 in the first 15 minutes of each match. One thing to note about the mines though is running in and AoE'ing everything was not granting full Marks. If I killed 3 mobs at the same time, I only got a single Mark. So I just stuck to single targetting each one down.

Any tips for farming to honored? How and when is the debuff applied? Thinking about asking some guildies for free kills...

1. Go to falcosaur daily area
2. Stay away from highly player populated areas
3. Use Ivory Talon
4. Search for prey
5. Kill prey
6. When out of prey, server jump to find new easy targets - you will get marks in raid groups, etc.
7. Upon death: queue for skirmish will reset your Ivory Talon when you enter arena, just leave immediately after entering to get all your CDs as well
... repeat ...
Took me about 2-3 hours to get honored.
When honored just farm mines in AV. Make sure to not AoE kill mobs, since getting mark is on about 1.5 sec CD.

The debuff is applied when you get the killing blow on a player, unsure of if it can be cleared.
What I did was simply server hop to semi-populated servers, mostly in the falcosaur areas, and killed 2-5 people who were busy killing mobs.
Then when they eventually get you down, just do an arena skirmish to reset the item CD, and go again.
You need 78 marks with the darkmoon rep buff, took me a few hours, if you're a class with good burst / selfhealing you'll probably be done sooner
Edit: Haha, as seen above just now, this seem to be the best method currently.
For the AV part, if you are having problems with opposing factions in the mines, don't forget the old quest caves, those are usually abandoned.
