Scepter of Celebras Porting

I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but it is possible (as long as you're in the same group) to use the scepter in Maraudon to create the portal, then switch characters and click the portal and enter. Why did I even need to do this? Well, I was wanting to level / gear my rogue, and I have 2 accounts. I only have the scepter on 1 account, and it is the same account the rogue is on. Anyway, happy hunting. I hope some people can put this to use. (Tested as of today: 11/19/07)

nope, u can't
u need to be in the party to click on the mages portal
and if the 2 characters are on the same account i don't think that this will work

easy way to overcome this even if have 1 account all u do is get a friend to help, invite him into the group create the portal disconnect ( pull out a cord i find easiest ) and then log on has a diffrent character get ur friend to invite this toon an jump through the port this also can be used to buff other characters.
