Weapon Enchants On Shields. (Alliance Only)

While possible at any level, this only really serves any use at lower levels, however can have cosmetic effect at any it can still be useful at those levels.

With the new movie promotion items, when you mail them to a character of the opposite faction they because the equivalent for the other faction. The sword becomes the axe and visa versa. And the staff becomes the shield. However you can enchant the staff and have the enchant stay on the shield, even enchants you cannot normally apply to shields. Additionally when sheathed, the glow will be visible on the shield.

This is only useful at low levels where the enchant is more viable than the stats of another shield, for example 11 spellpower or heartsong at 19.

On hit enchants like crusader probably won't be much use (might proc with abilities such as Thunder Clap) however passive stat enchants work as well as any on spell proc enchant.

You could also apply shield / off hand only enchants to the staff, but you are unlikely to want to do that, due to those enchants being pretty shit, and loosing the stats from the staff you'd have in place of it.

I would assume this works with enchanter hut illusions if you want to get a cool glowing shield for a bank alt character.

Edit: tested illusions and it is displayed in the mailbox but as soon as you loot it it goes away, enchants work fine though.
