Kaizuken here with new exploit.


You can create invisible character names by simply using these letters beside æ or ø. (Ý, ú, ñ, ṇ, ṅ, č, ť, ą, ḍ, ẽ)
Example: Ý(ø)úkn(ø)wý(æ)ý(æ)x, Ýøúknøwýæýæx
It will show invisible in the chatbox.

Doesn't work on US servers. Name shows all characters, tested by whispering my friends' ingame characters and asking them. Five people confirmed that they saw the full name, not blank spaces.

If you use any other font than default one, this won't work. Most people with chat addons don't use the default font.

It's simply a bug on your end, sorry.

first I thought it's because blizzard chat font can't recognize characters while font-changing addons can, but after some testing the opposite turned out.

These characters are clearly visible and displayable with the original chat font so, as 4096 wrote it may be a bug on your side. Probably addon related.
