Use 3+ minute cooldowns twice before pulling in raids!

Patch 6.1. added a cool new feature that resets cooldowns lasting 3 minutes or more after you kill / wipe on a raid boss.

This can be exploited though.

You can use the cooldown(s), pull the boss and reset the encounter.
The cooldown(s) - i.e. Icy Veins - will continue its duration on you, but the cooldown is reset, so you can use it again whenever.

This basically just extends the buffs you get from your cooldowns by X seconds.

This does NOT work with Heroism, Time Warp or Bloodlust.

Quick note: You can do this more than twice obviously to extend the duration of anything to as much as you want. As long as you can reset the encounter without dying.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea at least when it comes to Icy Veins, but apart from IV and probably 2-3 more CDs like druids incarnation that have long duration I don't really think that there would be much benefit, since most CDs will probably end/almost end(like 2-3 sec left) by the time the boss respawns.

you have to attack the boss on most pulls to get reset of your cds, trinkets gonna proc and the respawn time of the boss is mostly longer than the used cds are up!

good idea but wont work on 99% of the bosses.

Wrong. Before 6.1 3min cooldowns woudn't reset, only longer cooldowns did.

This was added in 6.1. In T14/start of MoP they added +5min cds being reset. If you had read the post this is about 3 min cds reseting. There is also a special condition that removes your active lust when reseting a boss but clearly there is nothing to prevent you from using 3 min cds twice.
