Black Temple: kill Illidan in less than 10 minutes (rogue only)

Hey,

after reading this thread (Ulduar:Skip to Yogg Saron(Rogue only)) I thought about using the method in other places and I came up with the Black Temple. I still need to get the blades, so I tried to shadow step the door to Mother Shahraz which is easily doable. You can kill Illidan in less than 10 minutes with this, as you can skip the 4 most annoying bosses of the instance.

Your way to profit:

1. Kill Naj'entus and Supremus on your way up to the door to Mother Shahraz
2. Pull some of the trash mobs
3. Run forth and back at the door so that one of the mobs clips into it
4. Use Shadow Step now
5. ...
6. Profit!

All trash and bosses will be up, there is no requirement to do the usual kill bosses to open door routine to spawn them.

I hope this will ease your grind :-) And please rep that other guy who came up with the step through door idea. I just figured another place to use it.

+1. took a few attempts but eventually one mob will be standing in the door.

if you manage to get to illidans platform, akama is there so you can start the encounter if u can bring mobs with you or shadow step basiok toy

you can also get to illdian if you use that feather item that makes you fly (from the frost wolf inn quests) as long as you use it in the open area of the temple. but good find, the shadow step bug is an awesome bug and useful for many reasons =)

I mentioned this in an earlier thread about the shadowstep trick in the exploration section before, but I think its quite helpful, so once again:
You can use Puntable Marmot. Place it in front of a door and shadowstep behind it.
This is useful if there are no enemies. For example you can use this with many battleground doors before they open.

Not yet but i am not actually farming them if they drop than nice otherwise nah since i sold my old account i don't really care about that stuff anymore sry for replying that late

i tried this on wednesday and it worked like a charm, thank you.

it probably saved of around 15 mins from my run...

also rogues has some new skill which makes them run with %70 all the time, u just have to use tat spell every 4 secs, cant remember it, it uses 20 energy but since ur not in fight, that 20 eng comes back in 4 secs so u can speed up ur run even more with this. its a talent u choose in ur talents tree.
