Get 1000 Dingy Iron Coins in less than 10 minutes

So i was questing the other night and i noticed there is a point where lots of pick pocketable npcs spawn REALLY fast. I was able to compleate my first dingy iron coin quest and i got a good amount of gold from it.

The absolute best place to pickpocket so far that I've found is in the Tomb of Lights in Talador. as soon as you start the quests that take place inside, there is an endless stream of pickpocketable Orc mobs that come out of a portal that fight friendly NPCs. They die fairly quickly, which means the mobs refresh and make it easy to pickpocket the new mobs. I made 2000 Dingy Iron Coins in the span of 20 minutes.

If you want to do this AFK like I did or while watching videos, use this macro (I have no idea who to credit, it's not mine):

/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/cast Pick Pocket
/cleartarget

Configure your hotkey to be pressed every ~500ms for good results. Also, the best spot to stand is at the end of the light blue area where the draenei are fightning, but not too far behind. You don't want to have any fighting mobs in front of you. Face somewhere between the two portals, a bit more to the left one. This should come out at 1500g per hour for the coins and 300g from the mobs which results in a nice 1800g for doing nothing.

EDIT: I got 2500 coins in 30 mins.

I stood in the mentioned light-blue area, but after a few minutes I think a got a better positioning that the one sugested.
There is two triangles pointing out in the middle of that area, I was on the one to the right (When facing the draeneis fighting).
Also, I pointed my character to the left side of the area where the NPCs are fighting, so I pickpocketed most of the mobs that spawned from the portal.

Don't forget to use your glyph of pickpocket and the macro that was shared by Martin240.

Not knowing about the expansions rouge and pick pocketing profiteering ... What do the coins exactly do in a quick summary?

u don't need any quest...i just went there with a fresh rogue lvl 90 and mobs are spawning just like in the video, i'm pickpocketing like crazy(not really, i use keyspam ) with the macro above...it is indeed a sweet spot...+rep for op.

the quest indeed gives out 10g ....not worth it

why would you release this tho, been doing this since release. though pickpocket profiles for junk boxes yield more gold in the endrun.
