Upgrade Items

Vendor a large amount of Greens/Blues. Log off. Use the automated Item Restoration to get them all back. Log in. When you take the items from your mailbox, each one has a chance to proc the automatic upgrade perk. (Increased chance with Warmill in Garrison) This will lead to a bunch of Blues/Epics that you can then disenchant, or put on the auction house if they're BoE.

Warforged isn't upgrade, items are totaly different.

Tested and yeah it's up to like 50 items once every 30 days PER ACCOUNT.

Nope, i noticed this while restoring 50 of my items aswell and it does not work, All it does is SOMETIMES show you the message that you proced an item. It cannot go from Rare > Epic via this method.

what is that method that we can use to restore more than 1 item every 30 days?

Tried this out with my HC Geared Paladin -> Deleted all HC Gear 630 and restored it -> Didn't get a single Warforged, so I assume it doesnt work with Loot Drops from Dungeons but only quest gear!

I absolutely went from Rare to Epic while using this trick. Chances are, you didn't vendor items that were eligible for upgrade. The point of this is getting higher level Enchanting mats, which are extremely valuable this early in the expansion. Your 630 HC dungeon gear doesn't work for this. Any BoE Blue item that you get from a Rare can be upgraded and sold for a few thousand gold, quest items can be upgraded to epic and disenchanted.

For the people saying its 1 every 30 days for a single item, that's incorrect. Its once every 30 days, but you can restore up to 50 items at once.

The way I discovered this was that I decided to swap to Enchanting on a character that had a Gathering Profession, since I could get all my mats from my Garrison now. I restored all of his items that he got while questing so that I could DE them all, and a pretty decent amount of them got upgraded since I have the War Mill perk in my Garrison. Selling the mats is incredibly profitable, so take advantage of it before Blizzard fixes it.

Sorry to break it to you guys but since i did check this out before this post. The items that show you that "upgrade" when you loot from mailbox is because when you got them from the quest or rare or anything they upgraded( it just shows u the animation again but the item is just like it was when you vendored it)

Tried with about 15 items and i have the double upgrade chance thingy in garrison. Every item remained the same.
