2 toys for price of 1
hey guys , so yesterday i was messing around with my alts trying to figure how to get from my current 63 toys to the 100 ,
i found that once of my alts had champions seals so i went to the argent tournament and purchased one of the city banners , and to my surprise i saw it credited me for the horde equivelant also , so instead of going from 63 to 64 i went to 65 , i tested it again with another banner and got to 67.
so apparently since it will give you the opposing city's banner just like the mount it still counts as extra toy in toy box which makes getting the achievement much easier
darnassus banner
TL;DR: each argent tournament banner counts as 2 toys

What is the cost of one banner? Maybe even link the wowhead in your original post for easier access.

It's very much intended. Good to bring this up but it should be in the 'Guides' section.

doubt it is intended when mounts and pets dont count double

Some pets do. Argent Squire and Argent Gruntling. Horde and Alliance balloons. Provided you get them on both factions.

exactly SOME , which indicates its not the usual situation which makes it a bug or exploit

This is 100% intended. Toybox does not necessarily have to work like the mount journal, they are not the same.

yeah intended... move do guides

and you know that how?
was you in the development team that build the toy box system? what we have in our hands is how pets and mounts work and unless we get any different info this is what we base our calculations on

Imo, it's a slight exploit and a slight guide. Before you were only able to use the banner if you owned it, toon specific. Now it can be used across all toons, and it reflects into the opposite faction as well. I'm sure this was slightly unintended, and will not be fixed due to that it isn't considered 'gamebreaking'. Now, if a mod were to differ in opinion, they may move it themselves. There's no need to bash the OP.

The Tol Barad Searchlight will also grant you both faction equivalents. [yeah don't think they're changing this, but just passing it along]

All the faction specific toys count regardless of which faction you are on. The Gnomeregan invasion and troll island toys are another example.

since some ppl are having it hard to grasp the actual point ill clarify :
the exploit is that you pay for 1 and you get 2 on the counter

I still don't see the exploit. When you buy one you automatically get the opposing faction's version so obviously it counts as two. It is a nice tip but I agree this should probably be a guide since that is how it is intended to work.
