Heroic Leap on buildings and mountains!

Just discovered with a friend that you can now apparently use heroic leap on top of buildings and mountains so you can actually climb in a lot of spots with heroic leap. This surely has great exploit potential.


Just position somewhere below the spot you want to reach and try to place the leap location just barely at the edge, it'll find a viable location and you can jump up even with no ramp or nothing else. Like you can actually climb.

Tested this in several locations, might not work everywhere but it worked in most spots we tried.

Do not have fraps atm sadly, asked a friend to record it in WSG but right now WSG queue seems to be bugged, 54 minute queue and no pop at lvl 90

It seems that you have to get the your mouse target to stay horizontal when its against the cliff for it to work. I haven't been able to hop through any walls yet though.

You can also skip many parts of raids/dungeons with this. You can jump up to the last boss in hellfire ramparts. Jump past the slowing part in BWL and much more

Here's some screenshots from WSG. You can jump pretty much to any place you have line of sight to and is not blocked by invisible walls. However jumping to higher places can allow you to find holes in those invisible walls and bypass them.

This is "intended", saw it in beta patch notes a while ago that they wanted to fix spells like heroic leap.

I very highly doubt this is intended, Its been broken like this before and they've seen what we can do with it. Along with the fact that a normal non-exploiting warrior doing his rotation doesn't need to leap up mountains.

Think its fixed. Can't jump on anything in EU at Shrine. Say "no Path"
