Boost 90 Keep arena rating.

As title says, if you use your boost on a character @level 70 or 80 85 that has arena rating, you wont get your rating reset with the lastest hotfix who resets your rating when you hit 90


#1 get boost
#2 use boost on an alt with high arena rating (2200/2400/2700)
#3 keep the rating when the char hits 90
#4 ??
#5 profit


alltho this is most likley going to be fixed in a hotfix but could be fun

no, ive known since day one where i used it on my level 80druid with 1800rbg (from 80 bracket) and i retained it, and since ppl are starting to spread it, and there was no post on ownedcore so i made one to enlighten the community, and if you have any other useless bashing or comment to do please take it with the admins or on another forum. thanks

So if you get to lets say 2.5k+ cr in 3s on a 70 toon use the boost you will keep the CR and get glad or no?

you raise an interesting question, though if this gets well known and people do it they will probably just reset the rating before glads are given

I can confirm this was working earlier this season.
I can also confirm Blizzard did not overlook this and took countermeasures.
All PvP mounts and achievements for my friends toon, even his previously earned RBG mounts was removed..
His char was rolled back and he was very dissapointed.. But if you decide to try doing this anyways, good luck! xD

I'm talking more about being 2500+ at 70/80/85 and then buying 90 boost and keep the rating. (just interested in the cloak/tabard)
One thing that works that i can confirm is at lvl 85 (2500 rating in arena) and losing rbg grants you conquest points so u can purchase the tabard/cloak.

this was fixed awhile ago, stop bumping this thread. your rating resets when you level up or boost.
