extra loot roll *after* taking warforged seal quest

So I just did Celestials on my mage and teleported to Shrine to pick up 3 more seals. Then I ported to Undercity. Guess what? On arrival, I had the extra roll dice!
Gold as usual, but this is really odd I think .

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work, you have like 5 minutes time to pick up your seals after a kill, time in which you can bonus roll afterwards.

He said he picked up 3 more seals. Could he not mean he rolled, picked up 3 more and then rolled again?
