Refresh Flask before it runs out - get two full hours of Flask

Simple steps:

1) Use a flask.
2) Get 1-59 minutes of use from the flask. This can be used on it's remaining seconds of use.
3) Use a second flask of the same type.
4) The buff will increase to 2 hours and will last for 2 FULL hours effectively giving you an hour of free flask.

By default most timers go to 2h visually, yes - but this timer actually does last two hours. Try it. After a little over an hour the timer will drop down to 59 minutes.

Something seems to have gotten mixed up when they changed it in 5.4. Another note; I've only tested this with Flask of the Warm Sun.

roflmao , no it doesn't but I can see why you think that it says 2h but in fact it will only add 1 hour to whatever is remaining

Not really an exploit.. It's a part of the game, and is intended to work like that.

its not an exploit its intended, you can check 5.4 patch notes its added there i guess or 5.4.x

Its not an exploit, it was added with 5.4 and you do NOT get 2hours lol... All you get is 1hour + the remains from the flask you already had, you gain nothing what so ever.

Everytime I use a second flask of the same type, my flask duration gets set to 1h 15min. It doesn't matter if there are 3 secs left oder 10, it always goes to 1h 15min.
If you use the standart Blizzard UI, the buff duration might be displayed as 2h..

The 5.4 patch feature is intended to work like "if you refresh a flask when there is 15min left or less, the current duration remaning will be added to the full hour of the new flask".

The "bug" (read not working as described in the patch not) is that whenever you refresh your flask between 1sec and 15min left, you'll get a straight 1h15 everytime. However, this doesnt work asd described in the op' thread, you'll never get more than 1h15 flask duration if you're not alchemist.

The game engine rounds up the number. Haven't you noticed this with anything else in the game, including your own CD's? You do nto actually get 2 hours, you get an hour on top of any time remaining which is why 1hr + any remaining minutes will appear as 2 hours.

Did any of you actually try doing this before commenting, "Check patch notes" (And not recalling a previous experience, I mean actually testing this)? He isn't saying that its time remaining+1hr. He's saying it lasts two full hours. Now I don't know if thats true or not, but saying it's part of the game or not an exploit isn't doing anything. He isn't refering to the ingame feature, he's talking about a full two hours from 1-59 min flask and a full one.

Im using that every single time <20sec before it expires and you get 75min not 120....

Yes, Cookies7. I test it every single raid night since 5.4 came out. Or drinking flasks is this rare these days?

It works as ^oximo^ described it.
You can save 1 flask on a 5 hour long raid, if you drink the new just before the old expires, that's 4 x 15 extra min.
But that's all. And get a buffbar addon, OP
