Staying in flex raids while kicked.

I have searched for this in particular and couldn't find anything so sorry if it is a repost.

This method simply requires you to use peer block to block blizzards ip. There are multiple threads telling you how to do this.

Once the i.p is blocked try to get yourself into a flex raid and you can then be kicked/leave yourself and still remain in the raid ungrouped.

However, i am not sure if you will still receive loot while not in the actual raids group, i am currently doing this now and will come back to post if i get loot.

I think you will get loot as its flex (meaning no drops from the actual boss) + if you hit the boss while in raid group don't you still have the tag? (loot :P) + great find

ok my group just wiped and i also died which results in a dc. so if they wipe you will have to find another group sadly.

Yeah if you get the tag while still in the group it should work but this kind of tactic is for people with low ilvl who can't get into the raids initially. also i had an idea about inviting a friend while you are not in the raid group and see if they could also join the same ungrouped flex raid?

if u get the tag u will get loot. if u dont get tag u will not.

Tested however like mentioned if you die you'll get DC and ungrouped.

Also eventhough you've left the group will still be considered asif you were still inn it. E.i if you leave a 13man group making it 12man, the instance number still says 13. Making it easy for people who are aware of this to know that there's a "leecher".


As mentioned I tested this, but died instantly as the boss did too much dmg. Would suggest bringing a healer and staying far away. You get auto engaged with the boss as long as you are in the instance.


I'd be carefull with this as you'll easily get found out and reported.
