Avoid blood horror

Not sure if this is an exploit or not, but if you attack warlocks with blood horror at the max melee range, it won't fear you.

As a rogue with subterfuge, you can avoid it by attacking the lock without him being able to target you within the first melee hit. If he can target you when you open then you will get affected
