Trade Primal Egg even after it hatched

Hello all, the primal egg item, as many may know, contains 1 out of 3 different colour raptors. However when farming these items as a group it often occurs that once the egg hatches it turns out to be a colour you already have and/or do not want. Normally when an item "opens" many are replaced with a new item ID, however this is not the case for the egg. Even when it is lootable it can still be traded. In the case of an item that does not get a new ID, it should not be lootable by other players, but there is a simple way to make this possible:

so:

1. Obtain an egg in a group
2. Log off for three days so the two hour trade remains on the item
3. Hatch the egg
4. Turn off auto loot and check inside the egg if it is the mount you need/want
5. If not, trade the egg to a person that was in the group and eligible to the loot

At this point when he/she tries to loot the item it'll give an error saying he/she is not eligible for the loot, since it has previously been opened by somebody else. However, here comes the exploitable part: After relogging the item becomes lootable.

You can potentially give unwanted mounts to friends/party members or simply farm eggs as a group and trade them to eachother.

if you can get your friends to keep the eggs for you and trade them to you, yes . personally I'd simply get the egg on multiple different alts to get more than 1 egg per 3 days. Still difficult to farm them though, the drop rate is terrible. At least no mounts go wasted with this method and you can just give it to somebody that actually needs it.

It has to do with it never being confirmed and having no screenies for even proof. Then when i find out that it actually is something even bigger than that and my group try it, it doesnt work? So just wanna make sure this 1 works.

I tried it again today, and it worked. I received the egg from a friend containing the black raptor. Couldnt open it at first, my undead kept saying stuff like "That is stealing" "You cannot loot that target" or something like that. So I relogged, opened it and received the loot. So I can confirm you that it is still working as of last server restart/maintenance. That is on EU side at least.

Also, I read on ownedcore before that screenshots contain hidden account information, I kind of stay away from putting screenshots online because of this reason. However, if proof is important to you, then I would suggest to go and test it yourself and post your results . I'd even +Rep you, unfortunately I already repped you with your first post in this thread :P, so that wouldn't be an option. If for whatever reason it does not work for you, I'm willing to have a look to see what you did wrong.
