Increase Orb of the Sin'dorei - Female to Male - Male to Female exploit

I've been trying since tbc to exploit Orb of the Sin'dorei to get it last 30minutes (CD to re-use)

I managed to get it last 10minutes so far from 5minutes duration.

Here's how to do it.

1. Get yourself - Orb of the Sin'dorei of course.
2. If your toon is a female character get one of these, Mr. Smite's Brass Compass or
3. Iron Boot Flask, Carved Ogre Idol, Gordok Ogre Suit or anything else that can turn you into a male.
4. For male characters get [Pygmy Oil] or anything that turns you into a female.
5. Now use Iron Boot Flask followed by Orb of the Sin'dorei if your female you should now look as a blood elf male.
6. Now to increase the duration of your buff all you need to do is teleport or hearthstone.
7. You will now get a new refreshed bufff but you will look as the opposite gender.

PS: You can teleport anytime you want really doesn't matter when exactly.

Minor exploit but I love doing it in-game especially when I'm bored of my own race

It shows as extra time on the buff however you do know it only lasts the duration from when you used the orb not the duration it says after the hearthstone.


And really this isn't an exploit people have been changing gender with this orb since wotlk, this is also probably a repost and in my opinion is clever use of game mechanics.

You shouldve posted it in the Guides section. Because this doesn't really belong in the Exploit section because like Razzerz said; Clever use of game mechanics.

Now many probably know about it due to my post back early in the days, just wanted to bring it back to life for some new members as a "minor exploit"

Wintrading / pets / rating / exp is also clever use of game mechanics, yet it's seen as an exploit

tough this doesn't even apply to "Clever use of game mechanics" as indeed it's an exploit of "buffs stacking" which they should work as one by time and not re-stack .

Since the buff says "5mints" with this method you increase it to "10mints" as basically it's indeed as an exploit mate
