Raid items for both your main and alt

I'm not sure whether this is a repost,common sense or not even an exploit and I don't care to be honest,I' just wanted to share a method I've been using for quite some time to gear low lvl alts with transmogs or such items, SO without further adieu here's my the method
(1 account required and a friend/person that can invite (could be a trial I believe)
Step 1 Open WoW in 2 tabs
Step 2 Log in on the first tab,write your username and pass on the 2nd
Step 3 Form a party with your main and your friend/the trial,dc the main log in the alt and invite him,dc the alt log with the main
Step 4 Go to raid/dungeon/whatever X with your main and DC
Step 5 Bring the ALT to raid X,enter,DC
(you could just have em camped at the entrance so they just walk inside nearly simultaneously)
Step 6 Clear trash to whatever boss you want with the main,dc
Step 7 log in with the alt,see if he wasnt ported of the raid(doesnt usually happen to me) move him near the boss you just cleared the trash for,DC
Step 8 Log in with the main,fight the boss,dc halfway,log the alt ,make sure hes in close proximity/nothing too near/ DC
Step 9 Kill the boss with your main,loot
Step 10 now both your main and alt(s) can get loot
It's rather elaborate but i've used it to gear my 70 and 60 twink with bg stuff from aq40/bt for quite some time so its all good

yeah, but not when u DCd,

used this to grind some rep on alts ;D but yeah this has worked since vanilla - no need to use any dc macro, just hit X on your wow window or alt-f4 ;D

If you read between the lines,his reply suggests it's a well known exploit/practice for around 8 years now,and that my post obsolete. True,he doesn't need the dc macro,nor did I recommend using it..a simple tab back to your second WoW tab and logging in works just as fine. But why bother replying that my reply wasnt relevent to what he said? Are you that bored? I know I am responding to you..

Can't do it with a trial account, as they cant invite people (only BE invited by others), so how can you get your alt into the same grp.

Obviously works fine with a friend to help out.
