Hunter Stampede

Hello

I was doing a weekly Tempest Keep run and somehow I managed too get one off the stampede pets to stay permanently. I was too high but if i recall what i did was at the phase where your'e at Kalthelas when he attempted to mind-control my character i popped stampede at the same time and one of the pets stayed permanently. Its nothing big but one of you guys might be able too elaborate and make it more useful.

Im quite positive that this isnt from stampede, but from what I remember when you have a pet out and you are mind controlled (or the pet, I dont remember which exactly) your pet remains with you but is no longer considered as "your pet" and just stays by your side, so you are able to summon your pet again. It does damage, but does not use any skills and it is of no use as when you go out it disappears instantaneously or later on. It doesn't always happen, seems more random or requires precise timing of the mind control.
Still, nice attempt trying.

Two suggestions; You should always make sure you can recreate the "trick" before you post it. As well as find out if it disappears after zoning out of instance. People will always say "useless" on every damn topic made here, but those things will cut down some of the skepticism.

The new hunter has ability Stampede summons all your active pets to attack your target and give better results.

and ye it disappearing after you leave instance

It's happening when one of the stampede pets gets MC'd and the duration of Mind Control lasts longer than the Stampede. Stampede despawns while your pet is still forced to stay spawned because it's MC'd and then is stuck out. It is recreatable assuming you consider the RNG of having one of your Stampede pets getting MC'd as recreatable.
