Kill Players Unharmed from guards Easily at Halfhill Market 5.1.0

Found this nice little spot earlier today.

You get kinda stuck on the side of the tree, and its positioned perfectly so you can target pretty much anyone at the market AND the guards will NOT attack you and blow you out of the tree.

If you try this in the other tree, the moment you attack someone, the guards will do a knockback on you, throwing you out of the tree, and killing you.

But not in this tree

This here is the Killing Tree.

Edit: I'm a dk trying it with howling blast, still I'm getting knocked out of the tree, I need to master the positioning, it worked for like 10 seconds though then I got knocked out :S

Edit (2): It worked for me but I think I'm being knocked out because howling blast is hitting the guards as well

Are you a melee class? I havent tried this with melee, what class, and spec are you playing as.

And what abilities are you using when you get knocked out of the tree?

Hmm, I havent been attacked once yet while being up there, after killing numerous amounts of players.

Have you tried positioning yourself differently?

Ill mess around in the tree and see if there is a weak spot in it that can get you killed.

I would like to figure out the source of this problem

i try find save spot.. and use u spot, but after 30-40 sec guards drop me

I quoted your post for clarity that someone else was having the same problem.

Im going to go back and try this again soon. Will report back if its fixed or not. However, i dont see how they could have fixed it when I only uploaded it a matter of hours before maintenance.

It could just be a class thing.

Also, howliing blast shouldnt hit the guards, they are friendly targets.

Long time listener, first time caller.

If you taunt pets in an attempt to get them to attack/get their controller killed it will trigger the guards to attack you with knock back bullets. AND will not get the controller killed.

When attacking players, guards will become hostile so howling blast will hit them also
