[Trick] LOS kiting

Hey all, here is a new trick i discovered, and will make a vid soon
LOS=Line of Sight

It works on casters.


Step 1,
Find a place which has caster mobs and some sort of building in the center or wall, i'l use the tranquil garden cemetery in duskwood, which has casters and that building in the center

Step 2,
position yourself at the corner of walls and have a caster targeted.

Step 3,
Fire at them and then when you see them casting go behind the corner of the wall, so they run out of line of site,

Step 4,
keep shooting at em, then run behind the next corner when they are casting,

Step 5,
repeat previous steps till mob is dead,

Note: Have your pet attack the enemy througout but make them not use growl or any other threat makers. You should include using distracting shot and keep the aggro on you.

Note: it helps to have ticked, 'Show Enemy Cast Bar' in the interface options

Dude.... Calm down we all hate flamers but not to the extent of saying THAT! I use cuss words when needed but I find It a little offending for somebody to use that language.... Im catholic and to insult Christ like that makes me want to kick somebodys face in.... We have some Love on this forum that all they do is Love....

Next time you make a counter Love, Use any other words but those......

Yes, this is very useful especially against elite casters. I did this with my lock in STV next to grom'gol under water. Very useful.

And yes, if they're not elite casters, I believe it goes faster when you simply kill the mob.

Thats basically a common tactic used in any raiding instance at any level range, there will "always" be one boss that requires such action just to survive lol.

Kiting 101.

This is a known trick to anyone who's ever played a mage or done any AoEing on casters. Trick to AoEing big packs is to get them stacked up on as small a circle as possible. Best way to do this on casters is to run out of LoS and they will all run just close enough to start casting again. I just want to add that Blood Elves can use their racial AoE silence for rounding up casters.
