I don't understand, what would spamming the release button do? Maybe resurrect you then it ports you to the GY? A bit more info pleaseIf it works I'll rep!
When you die, spam click the release button and it will teleport you to the graveyard, but you will be alive and wont have ressurection sickness
When you spam it, you should see the accept button before you ress, then you will simply just click the accept button and you will be teleported to the spirit healer while you're alive.

It don't work. I just tried.
I had this happen before, I even had myself ress where I died, only seems to work from time to time. Perhaps something to do with your latency.
Well the sickness is a buff... if you were fast enough or had some latency... I imagine you may miss the cast for the buff...
A macro to rez being spammed by say a G series logitech keyboard could be plausible... But it would have to be perfected to be repeatable every time to be a exploit...
This works in Battlegrounds as well for instant resurrect.
It is indeed caused by latency. you can do this (at least i have) after raid wipes when the servers are laggy. you will pop out of your body on clicking release but you wont TP out to graveyard, you can walk around. if you do it fast enough it recognizes that you are both in ghost form (from release) and within range of your body just like you would normally do, allowing you to rez.
As poster above me says, this actually has something to do with your latency.
I've had it happen for me several times, but I've never been fast enough to make it, to hit that "Accept" button lol, so you basically just need a poor latency I'm guessing.. not 100 % sure though.
During ICC one time I died, Released, and was Bresed. appeared at the GY alive with a pending res on me. took the res and was ported inside.
(don't post things I post to Patreon.)
Unless someone can reliably repeat this on command, this isn't too useful.
I've done this a couple time on a high pop server but it's something that doesn't happen often
