On Gara'Jal, you can cast a Paladin hand of protection on the actual tank, he wont lose aggro and will not take any damane until the end of hand of protection.

Barely even worth re-posting. It only blocks the physical damage the boss swings do and not any magical damage from the adds inside the spirit realm. On heroic you're also limited by a tough enrage timer so using BoP on the tank is a horrible idea because you lose a lot of DPS from it. If you can't kill it on normal without BoP then just give up on playing.

You are an idiot Forestt. The point of the BoP is to make Voodoo Dolls take no damage as well. The BoP is to protect them, not the tank. Especially on Heroic, when the Voodoo Dolls takes 100% tank damage, not 70%.

But yes, this is a repost. And no, this isn't an exploit. BoP may remove you from aggro table, but during Voodoo Dolls Gara'jal fixates on the tank, meaning it doesn't matter what his aggro table is.
