Clone your characters with server transfer!

That's how I'm feeling at the moment. On to the exploit.

I were transferring a few characters using the free character migration. By mistake I returned a mail to a character "in transfer" and bam! I had the character on both servers.

To be sure that it worked I tried again ( this time I just sent a mail to the character instead of returning one) and now I had another pair of the same character, I also tried a third time but that one failed. I guess it could have been that the transfer completed before I could send the mail.

So the exploit worked 2/3 times.

I have no idea if it works with the normal character transfer, I've only tried with the free version.

If this really works, have fun!

Step by step guide

1. Start character transfer

2. Send in-game mail containing an item to the character "in transfer" This has to be done before the transfer is complete.

3. Enjoy having a copy of your character.

You can post it in Elite, and you will still be able to view it. You can also request move to elite, if this work I'm gonna +5 you.

why would you use Free Character Migration in the first place?
its a shitty method implemented by Blizzard to earn more money, because you will end up transfering back to a high population server after realizing how shitty is to play in a low-population server lol.

Long queues usually last just for a couple weeks after an expansion's release, everybody should know that by now..

You are of course free to use the FCM and end up on a very low populated server...
You are also free to pay them 20 bucks to transfer back to your old server to actually enjoy any type of end game lol. Dead low-pop servers offer nothing.

Is that so? I'll admit that this account has been inactive for 6-7 days but before that I had daily 2-3h queues*

Edit: and I mainly did it cause the server I were on had a shitty economy.

Yeah, but I think you only have like 10-15 sec usually, I wrote my email+password into wow so that I could just press enter and login as soon as I clicked "finish" on the character transfer.

The only thing "wrong" with my characters are that the old copies are naked on the log in screen, but they have the gear ingame
