Keep Valor of the Ancients buff after weekly reset.

As you may know, there is a buff you get on all your alts once a toon is valor capped for the week called "Valor of the Ancients" that increases your Valor Points earned by 50%.

Normally this buff is lost every reset (on Wednesday/Tuesday) on all toons, and you have to cap Valor Points again to have it.

Today (after reset on EU), by accident, I logged in on an alt to check mail first and I still had the buff.

After I logged on on my main, I still had it!

This will not allow you to get more VPs or anything, you will just be able to cap it faster on your main!

So, clear instructions:

1. If your main had capped VPs the previous week, you had a buff on you called "Valor of the Ancients"
2. After the weekly reset, instead of logging on your main toon, log on an alt
3. Log on your main toon
4. Keep Valor of the Ancients!
5. PROFIT!

You dont even need to log an alt, i belive you just need to have 1k valor

I need more confirmations.

I don't have 1000+ VPs anymore (bought neck piece) and I still have the buff. All my friends who logged on their mains today first don't have the buff anymore, except those who logged on alts first.

I have 1k valor on my main and my alt, I logged onto my alt first and had no buff. -EU

Yeah, I didn't cap my alt's VPs last week, I think that's the catch. To log on to an alt that wasn't capped.

I had capped valor, but did not retain the buff. So there is more to it than that.

I managed to keep the buff, just thought it was some normal sort of bug. If it helps figure out what causes it, I was online when the weekly reset time hit. I never lost the buff and when I logged in the next day, I still had it.

This pretty much.. I was also logged in at 4am and this morning I noticed the buff was still active.

Well, somehow during last night I lost the buff...

That was it I guess. Glitch on their side or something *shrug*

Still working for me! Alters still have ancient buff while main hasn't capped valor points yet.

I have it as well and I wasn't even online at 4 am :O

Getting 150 valor points from with klaxxi and golden lotus dailies and 90 valor points from random dungeon daily =)
