Keep "Honored with Guild" rep status when switching to a new guild.

First time ever posting. Did a search and didn't find this... Although this could be 'working as intended' anyway, however, I had bought a "Renowned Guild Tabard" with my old guild, which requires a guild rep level of "honored" to have it. I was exalted with the guild when I left it. Then I joined a new guild, (While keeping the renowned guild tabard on the entire time), and when I joined the new guild, my reputation was automatically set to "Honored" , because I was wearing the Renowned Guild Tabard which "requires" you to be honored.

So either it's a fun little exploit to keep at least honored status when you switch to a new guild, OR that is how it is supposed to work?

There is a certain ammount of guild rep you lose when you switch over. So your rep don't reset all. I did not know either of it was couple of days ago a post about it here on the site

Sorry pal, you lose only 12k honor when you switch guilds. Working as intended.

Actually, that's not right either. You drop down 1 rank each time you switch guilds.

Yes it's new. When you join a new guild now you drop down to the lowest point of the next lower reputation level (example 999/1000 Exalted -> 1/21000 Revered).

I swapped a guild on an exalted char, and he got revered in the new one.

ya new implementation in MoP is that you just drop one rank... so if you are Revered you drop to Honored, or if you are honored, you drop to friendly...

Weird... I just dropped to aroud 10k Revered when quit 999/1000 exalted. Anyway, this is not an exploit ^^

nope, your reputation is always reduced to 1/21000, 1/12000, etc.
