Did you try to reproduce this? I would advise you to do a few more random quests, and check again, most likely your counter would have returned to intended 1213+however many quests you have done after. I have noticed something similar plenty of times while i was working on my seeker achievement, but it was going up and down constantly by numbers 50-150 ish. I made a ticket and GM made it clear that areas that got affected by the Shattering get buggy because of how quest tracking is implemented in game atm.

From what I've heard is that that achievement UI is just bugged. I am bouncing between 1992 and 2202 completed quests almost everytime i check the achievement tab.

misread the post initially. thought you were saying it gave you 3k or so quests for 1.... regardless it looks like its variable bc i did this line and only got credit for 8 quests. more than intended im sure, but i wouldnt do this unless ur trying to grind exalted...
