I keep joining on my ret pala as a healing and hiding in the group, only had 25g bags so far but it definetly works anyway

Didn't work for me, group probably wiped on Morchok I did get a 30 minute debuff though.

If you die and leave group you dont receive deserter.

Nevermind tried somthing else didnt work.

Signed as a healer and got a madness, so hid in ret spec till it started dpsed and left 10 seconds later, recieved a gurth in the mail



probably more luck getting a straight madness kill in lfr than anything else but still :P

Ok, I did end up getting this to work. I figured out that if you accept an invite into a 2/8 instance completed or something of that type you won't get a deserter after leaving the instance. And you also get the loot as soon as you queue back into another raid finder, although I am not sure if it has to be the same one you left, because I got into the same one I left and it gave me the item though the mail.

If this is how loot is going to be distributed on 90 raid finder raids, I would suggest maybe moving to elite to keep this until then, but thats just my 2 cents.

Heh If I was in a raid, and had shit to do, this is the exploit I'd be doing just for a chance at the items +6 rep nice find!

Only debuff you'll get is if you join on morchok. The rest just join, dps anything on the boss fight then leave, rejoin and the bag will appear in your mail or log but only if they killed the boss.(high possibility of wipes in lfr, had a few no show bags on practically every encounter :P )
