Anniverary Tabbard works for other things besides kills for exp and rep....

On the tooltip for the item they gave for anivesary you are supposed to get 8% increased exp for kills only


Well it works for Exp during archeology grinding, as well as other professions.
Each time I am finding a fragment I am getting 8% additional exp

Dont know if this was intended.. but it said nothing about it in the tooltip

It specifically says "kills" in the tooltip and DOES NOT WORK with questing

The tooltip only mentions monster kills. They may have been INTENDED it to give 8% extra experience on other things like professions, but on the surface I'd think this item only gave 8% extra while grinding.

No.. they are reguarded as professions.... which is why they grant profession xp (which works on rested)

The tooltip says kills.... leading me to believe that is what they wanted people to think it was for


maybe not the biggest xploit in history--- but useful nonetheless
usefull enough that I dont wanna sit here and argue weather its intended or not--- just enjoy it

interesting that heirlooms work as well
but I wanna see a post from blizz where it says that archeology gathering is considered a kill


I get what ur saying... but either way I think they are BOTH worth noting

its not in the tooltip so it may not be evident to some (I didnt know and I play everyday)

look at the spell effects, the only effect giving for xp is to kills, therefore, gathering and archy xp is considered kill xp.
