[Mount/Featofstr] Easier Scourer of the Eternal Sands

Scourer of the Eternal sands is VERY hard to get. I have found a easier method to finding the camel figurines.

Step one:
Get (Addon for WOW) TomTom to set way points. If you dont have Curse Client just download it and put it into WOW/Interface/addons

Step two:
Download this In-game Machinima tool


Step three:
Extract it to a folder (You create) called "Machinima Tool".

Step four: (First start WOW) This tool will automatically update to the latest version. It may glitch a bit when Running. After you update it twice then hit X if the update message pops up or try hitting cancel. Either way should get it to show up. There might be a bit of a delay. (30 sec)

Step five:
Log onto the character you want to do it on and go to Uldum.

Step six:Go on the WOW Machinima tool uncheck these boxes
-Render M2
-Render WMO
-Render Terrain(Optional will make confusing but helps)
Closing this program and/or unchecking boxes and/or restarting WOW will display them again.

Step seven:
Buildings and such should be invisible. Now time to set the way points with TomTom.
Makes these into macros and press them in Uldum.

Hey,

Just like at the Egg event , the machinima tool is bannable, so i just wanted you all to know.
But its a very good idea, never though about it, nice guide.

Almost all exploits can land you with a ban.

Most people use out of game tools to make Machinima's but people still use this. AND unless you tell someone you are abusing it then you will be fine. I use this for quests and such all the time.

You don't need the machinima hack, just get npc scan and tomtom and do the macro thing. I got the camel 20 mins after reading this. Thanks tom tom, I found the statue at the last waypoint

I think this would better fit in the guide section. It is the same idea as the egg event. Besides buildings or not, finding these are pretty rare on high population servers. I've only looted one and it was the non-mount giving figurine. Thanks for the tom tom waypoints though, there are a couple that I didn't have.

Hey guys,

Do you think it's possible to just camp Dormus the camel-hoarder at a place he spawn when somebody loots the figurine and tag him quicker then that person ? Just wondering....could be alot easier.

he spawns in a phased area.

to get in the phased area, you need the camel figurene.

You need to find a camel figurine to get into the phased area.

Although, you can have the person who found the camel figurine summon someone to the phased area, and Master Loot the mount to them, even if they're in a different phase.

I love the idea, one problem though. The machinima spectate mode doesn't follow along with the map, so how do I know where I am?
