Every Gloves Tinker on lvl 70

hi, i saw many guys learning engineering on lvl 70 for the tinkers and unlearn after they got the wrong tinker.
now that nearly everyone is wearing pve gear on that lvl, here's how to get the tinker you want.

1. find someone, who has learned the tinker you want
2. make him join your raid and kill the boss who drops the gloves you need
3. now you both have the 2h trade duration on the gloves
4. he takes the gloves. When he starts adding the Tinker to the gloves, the message that they are going to be soulbound will appear.
5. his part: Open Trade window. Start adding Tinker. put gloves in trade window while the 5sec cast. partner accepts trade. right at the end of the cast (isn't really hard) press trade.
6. profit. lvl 70 char has gloves with tinker

on the screenshot you can see the shocker tinker on my gloves, and my engineering skill with 3 wrong tinkers (i was gnome before)

Pics / video? if this works it would be pretty nice..... unfortunatly PVP twinks generally want the gloves because the Gloves have some additional bonus. for example the Feral druid gloves reduce the cost of skull bash, and the Shaman gloves increase the range on shocks and shears.

still, not intended, and could be usefull for the rare PvE Twink.

to the gloves thing: there are a lot of gloves for classes which dont have a good bonus.

I will try this in few hours when servers are up and friends are online to run stuff with, seems epic if working since I re leveled eng on my rogue 5 times to only get snapse

wow this will be really nice. now i just need drop luck to get the BT gloves on my pally. Will edit my Post when i finished BT running it with my pally and DK friend Who has engi 525.

EDIT: No drop luck =( not even a single pair of gloves to test this >.<

i guarantee its working maybe you try it out with low lvl gloves from any instance so you know how to do it right. if you do it wrong, the item will be soulbound on the wrong char :<

it would if the exploit is working. however, the tinkers still have a "requires XX level engineering" use requirement.

this allso works on ALL profesion enchants. i just put old 80 tinkers on my 39 twink.

I just tested and it did not work on a pair of BoE gloves. We tried several times with them and kept getting the "invalid target" message or they'd end up soulbound to the engineer. Several times, the trade accept was hit seemingly too late but I received the gloves in trade without the tinker

I'm wondering if this only works on Boss item drops that are already technically soulbound? Vegemite, what gloves did you use?

i used Revelosh's Gloves - Item - World of Warcraft works fine

we tried again with non-boe gloves, the problem might lie in my choice of engineer...

however, on one attempt, the timing looked absolutely perfect and we both dc'd...but he logged back on with a pair of soulbound gloves

its all about the timing, try out to trade earlier. after trade there is a delay like 0,3 secs so it should work if you press trade at 4,7sec/5sec or whatever the casttime is
