Hunter Farming Throne of Tides Exploit

Hi this is my first time posting I have searched and haven't found anything like this so this is what I've been doing.

When you go to Throne of Tides with a hunter go up the elevator.

From there you will go into a hallway and fight the first 2 wave of mobs.

They drop rare and uncommon items and also drop 50-2g a drop it takes me about 1 min to kill 4 guys.

Once the four guys are dead and looted feign death near the entrance and it will reset those 4 mobs. it takes about 15-30 seconds for them to respawn rinse and repeat.

I find this exploiting because your abusing their respawn rate without resetting the instance.

I hope this is helpful. This will work with any class with a vanish ability etc etc..

Its the same for any gauntlet event... get out of combat and it all respawns.

Nice effort, but it's a well known fact that using any ability to drop combat or remove you from combat like Hunter Feign Death, Rogue Vanish, or Mage Invisibility will reset bosses, mobs, etc. I don't believe Shadowmeld drops combat anymore due to the fact players would Shadowmeld and change talents mid fight back when dual spec was first introduced they may have just changed dual spec so it can't be cast in combat and gave Shadowmeld back how it was before (this is just iirc).

Well it was worth a shot to post anyways. If this doesn't classify as an exploit just move it to guides.

Shadowmeld works out in the world to drop combat, but not on bosses for sure. It may work on regular trash but I'm not sure. Worth a try I suppose.

On my level 1 twink i use shadowmeld to drop combat to regen health and change gear mid duel, however in an instance, if some1 in your party is in combat with you shadowmeld doesn´t drop combat. but i soloed alar (fire bird boss in the eye) on my hunter and after my pet died i shadowmelded and it instantly despawned the boss, soo yes shadowmeld works.

Shadowmeld only resets the fight when you are the last one living.

If you use it while there are other Player/pets alive you just drop aggro until everyone is dead. But then the boss will kill you too.

So make sure you disband your pet before you shadowmeld
