    Swimming around with SeaHorse speed!

Hello! Toddler here ^^ We are closing up on next/this weeks server maintence and i want to share something that my friend confirmed.

    1. Mount SeaHorse in Vashj'ir before maintence (Questmount)

    2. Stay mounted until you get disconnected.

    3. When you login you should have the same swimspeed as you have when you are mounted.

According to ma pal, the swimspeed shall persist even in other regions.

Thanks for the tip. I won't be able to try it as I'm not home when maintenance hits, but I'll +rep if someone can confirm later.

By the way, how long will it last? Until the next maintenance? 'Cause that'd be pretty amazing and render the Reins of Poseidus useless for those who could do this trick.

This seems very interesting to me.

I wonder if it is an extension of the old Vash'jir swim speed exploit:
http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...-up-300-a.html ([Cata] Increase Ground Mount Speed to up to 300%)

Thanks very much, and +2 rep to you for bringing it to my attention. Looking forward to doing some research on this.

    Bypass the blue wall?

Very cool trick. I wonder if you can get "under" Azeroth and then swim under the blue wall? Fatigue has stopped me from
attempting this so far. Does the blue wall go down below the ground? Probably, as it goes above the skybox, but
    worth a try.
Love to check this but I can't access my account atm.

The blue wall is never ending or it ends at a point where you can't go under normal conditions. Omo and I tried to see if it ended by going to the Ghostlands "Unknown Zone" and mounted the 2 Seater RaF rocket so we could fly in the zone. Then we went up for a good 15min + and the blue wall just kept on going.

as far as i know is the blue wall a wall without "limits", you neither can swim under it nor fly above it, as it never ends.

    /e damn you were faster!

An infinite wall would imply infinite hard drive space.....this simply isnt the case.

Im pretty sure there is a cap to how high you can fly, once you reach a certain distance (Height) you just stop going higher, but your mount looks like its moving.

You are both correct in saying that the blue wall is not infinite. Just as there is usually a cap on how high you fly, there is also a cap on how far you can swim down into the ocean. The further you fly, or swim, down, the closer you get to a line called "the death barrier" by explorers. You here the 'whoosh" sound and then you die, can can't go any further down. It is in WizardTrokair's sticky thread in the exploration forums about it. I urge everyone who is interested in exploration to go visit that sticky for almost all your exploration needs!
