Easily Defeat Ultraxion Exploit (Dragon Soul Normal 10 and 25)

During the fight, Thrall will give you a special spell called "Heroic Will". Normally, you use this spell to dodge Ultraxion's instant death mechanics, such as Fading Light and Hour of Twilight. I won't bother to explain the fight mechanics to you, but I will show you a macro that isn't intended, and breaks the fight and removes the difficulty almost entirely.

WARNING: Make sure you have a tank up during the Hour of Twilight cast. Have people who receive too much damage spam this macro:

/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will
/cast Heroic Will

Bind this and have your DPS and healers spam it during moments where they are taking too much damage. It will glitch and restore them to full health!

Macro is simply greyed out and does not work for /cast or /use.

Just what I thought. When we were doing Ultraxion, I was trying to macro that ability the same way /cast Heroic Will , it didn't worked as the ability doesn't work that way rather /use ExtraActionbutton1 is the correct macro. When I seen this post was thinking about why would it work..

Can't get it to work, the only thing that happens is that i am stuck in the normale phase, but that just don't help.

With /click ExtraActionButton1, not with your macro, it's simply greyed out and can't be used.

What this guy said. But yes, using heroic will when you're taking massive amounts of dmg would make easier for heals, but would lower the more important dps aspect of the burn phase of the boss. Since the longer boss is up then, the more raid damage he deals.

I'll try it again, I think it may have been hotfixed since my last lockout.

I tried it last night and all it did was the normal intended use and it sent me into the normal phase, but that wouldn't help at all with dps and the group would essentially wipe due to not doing enough dps.
