In particular I found the Maelstrom tweak fascinating. I go there often, but never thought to DC below the death line in the way that you did. Makes me wonder where else that would yield results...

I would like to succesfully get a NPC pet, but I have a few questions (if anyone knows the answers)...

1) Is it just that NPC that works?
2) Can Horde get that pet, or just for Ally's?
3) Do we have to use a DC macro or something? Cuz it seems too simple (even tho I can't get it to work).
4) Has anyone else got this to work yet?

The walk in air part does not work.

What i do is, i take the quest. Jump in rocket, then in chopper. Then i need to click on "leave vehicle" then back on rocket click on chopper and repeat. Then after 4-5 times, my team m8 moves to the location to the guy in vid. And i jump on the 5-6 time and he leap me when im near him. I then log out and when its 5 sec left i use the DC macro. I logg back in and i spawn on the ground. Sometimes im stuck (then i cant move, iv tryd 2 mount then i DC) and sometimes i can mount and move around like normal. Iv even dismount then i fall to gorund.

I even tried timing the logout so that the DC would occur at the exact same location as shown in the video. I also tried DC'ing earlier than or later than the 5 second mark to no avail. Is there something we're missing here?

Try loging out and dcing in a whole new zone.
