Dupe your WoW gold on all official Cataclysm servers

When the WoW Servers are lagging and is about to crash, you can deposit Gold into your Guilds bank,
and when the server comes back online your character will have the gold back, and the guild will also
have the gold you deposited!

It is very very rare a server ever crashes.
I cannot imagine this to work, perhaps on a cataclysm emu server.

If this worked I would be overjoyed but I highly doubt it does.

This does not work I know from personal experience that their is no way to dupe gold with server crash. RAoV has attempted several times with Crash server exploit.

This will not work. The Guildbank is handled like a extension of the bag of the gleader. Will not work and never worked :]

Anyone remember back in classic wow when you could exploit the mailing system and dupe anything you could mail?
THAT was the shit and wish I would have had the forsyth to create a billion gold and items and wait a few years and bought a house irl.. oh well
But I do remember it basicly ruined wow and did take them a long time to fix (I had actually quit right before this came out and a friend of mine showed me how to do it on his pc was pretty amazing) I think after that little number they prob fixed any kind of major duping and I doubt anything like that will ever be around ever again.

Cookie799 never told you this was a theory so why are you bashing him for that?
I don't see anyone actually trying this with the current client so I won't be able
to close this thread until someone actually proves this can no longer be done.

There is some truth to this, not sure if it works anymore but during WOTLK when ICC first came out I bought an item for 75 frost badges, server crashed (The one where it says world server is down and when you re-log you are in the past about 30 seconds to when it crash's) about 10 seconds after I bought them, once I re-logged I still had the item I bought + I had all my frost badges back.
Sounds like the same thing, just have to get extremely lucky I guess.
