Increase camera zoom range with Brewfest Pony Keg

Before we get started, set your max camera distance to 50 yards (this is the maximum normally allowed).

Also, turn off full-screen glow effect (to avoid screen blurring when drunk).
    Code:
    /console cameraDistanceMax 50

    /console ffxGlow 0

Now here are the steps for using the [Brewfest Pony Keg] to increase your zoom range even further:

    1) Drop your [Brewfest Pony Keg].

    2) Slam as many beers from the keg as possible (you may want to hotkey the [Brewfest Brew])

    3) Zoom your view out as far as you can go.

This can be useful in WSG since you can zoom out far enough to see on top of the roof while standing next to the flag.

TIP: You can avoid the wobbling effect of the drinks by running using the mouse (hold down both mouse buttons).

EDIT: I want to add that KuRIoS and Yorii have also shown how this can be achieved by editing some settings files. However, this method is unique in that can be done entirely while in-game.

This exploit allows you to go farther than normally allowed.

I can remember using booze to increase zoom distance since back in TBC. We used it a lot on loot reaver to avoid his arcane attack. Believe this is a repost.

Seems you are right and this thread can be deleted as a repost.

I will add that I think this is an exploit mainly because after a few drinks you stop getting any more drunk, yet the camera continues to pan out with every drink. The keg is nice because the drinks are free and you don't have to carry multiple stacks of drinks, and well everyone can get drunk at the same time! :P

Ah, I hadn't realized that it continued past the drunken stage. I suppose some rep is indeed deserved.
