I still haven't been able to recreate this on the Alliance side... but still trying. Could not get it to work with the Grizzly Hills log, the Caverns of Time dragon, or the Isle of Quel'Danas hawkstrider quest... but it could be my bad timing.

I think this 'flying in instances' is one of the biggest tricks for explorers yet... I can't believe you're not getting more hits & comments on this thread. Perhaps should have been posted in Exploration... might get the attention it deserves there. This is huge.

I have only one problem, after trying relogging with a second wow for the dc world i have no mount anymore and fall to death. Any hints?

You need to keep relogg. This REALLY sucks for the BG since you only got 1 try. But if you leave in uknown zone you dont get debuff. Its all about luck.
