[Molten Front] "Steal Magmolias" Daily Quest - Avoid Lava Bursters

Searched for "magmolias" and "lava bursters" but didn't find anything. Please tell me if it's a repost.

For the quest "Steal Magmolias", you need to collect little flowers in the lava pools in the middle of the map. There's a chance that instead of the loot window, a Lava Burster will spawn.
Today, I accidentally forgot that quest until I finished the other "entrance" dailies and got "The Forlorn Spire". Now, after looting some Magmolias, I noticed that I sometimes didn't get a loot window but also had no Lava Burster spawn. I did some testing and it seems the Lava Bursters do indeed spawn, but not in the phase you get when you are on either "The Forlorn Spire" or "Into the Fire".
After checking wowhead, it's also confirmed there (note: I found it myself and just checked on wowhead to be sure).
While checking, I also noticed another comment saying that the "fake" Magmolias don't have your quest progress displayed in the on-hover tooltip. Well, good to know.

Running away as soon as you loot works also fine. I had 1-2 spawns while doing the quest. Did it before any other quest and I was just in combat for a minute when a burster spawned and thats it. No battle, no shooting, nothing. Could be bugged and they stop shooting when you reach a certain range to them.

^could just be your out of there attack range. mobs that are unable to move are kind of screwed if you outrange them xD

I do exactly this...shift click (autoloot) and keep moving. You never enter combat because it takes a few seconds for the mob to pop up.
