Use hunter mastif pets on any Worgen class

Greetings ladies and gentlemen; today I have a special treat for you all, the knowledge of how to get scaliable hunter mastif COMBAT pets on any class obtainable by Worgen characters. This means you can have a druid, priest, warrior, rogue etc all with pets that level and fight with your character.

Here are some screenshots of the pet.

As he starts, I was level 4 when I obtained him:

    The actions and commands available:

Issueing the attack command and seeing him in combat:

As you level up, he does not level up with you until you resummon him:

    Requirements and Method
First of all, this is only obtainable by Worgen characters that have not completed their quest line yet and will only be available to Worgen characters who choose NOT to complete their questline; instead you must escape from the Gilnais zone by using the methods found in this thread: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/world-...one-phase.html

If you choose you would like to make use of this pet, you should start the Worgen quest chain until you come across the quest "From the Shadows" where you use the Gilnais Mastiff to track enemy worgen, when you get this quest ensure you do not hand this in and instead escape Gilnais by using the methods in the above link.

The item which summons the Mastif can be used anywhere in the world and is used to summon a hunter dog pet of a random colour which is equal to your current level.

Note: You cannot actually place the pet skills on the action bar directly however you can create macros and use those to command the pet or simply click from the spellbook.

Hope someone finds this useful or at the very least, entertaining

It is already posted in multiple forums... it is in the exploration forum as well.

I don't think this is something they could hotfix easily, anyhow. The only thing I could think of would be to make the collar item inherent to Gilneas (like the hotrod is inherent to Kezan).

Confirmed as working... I've got my level 4 Worgen sitting in Stormwind with her Mastif. You don't get too many looks... most people don't even realize that breaking out of the Worgen starting zone is difficult (...they say, "What's the big deal? That pet is a quest item".... I'm like, zoom, right over their heads!)

May seem obvious but it should be noted that Worgen hunters can not benefit from this, as the Mastiff replaces their existing pet. Just tested this.

You kiddin' me!? This would be very easy for them to fix. Either make it only usable in the starting zone (which they probably will/can do easily) or make it disappear if you leave the starting zone.

Are you a caster? If so there's your problem, their dmg scales off attack power like hunters.
