If you get a Satchel of Chilled Goods that has Burning Blossom in it, you can leave the blossoms in the bag. Come 4.2 with major patches often the contents of containers is reset. This should let you open the bag again in 4.2 and give you extra chances for the rare items. This worked for me with the Sack of Frosty Treasures in WoLK, I would take the badges out and leave the gold in them, when 4.0.1 hit I opened them again and took out some fresh justice points and other loot.

except when you loot the bag it just auto loots and takes everything out of it then discards the bag..at least test an exploit before you post it

Shouldn't happen if you don't have autoloot on. Works with the heroic bags atleast, I can't confirm about the bag that drops from Ahune as I don't really play anymore.

EDIT: Confirmed, you can just turn off the auto loot and get the justice points without losing the bag.

ive tryed this in the past and it it doesnt really work.

the only time the bags get reset is either when you transfer servers or a patch comes out that alters the contents of the bags you are hoading.

i tried it with 3 diffrent kinds of bags 2 from northrend and one from cata.

I am assured, it any more won't work. I on several characters have bags from other festivals of last year. Neither the Cataclysm, nor other small patches haven't changed loot for all this time.

dont have auto loot on but when I looted mine yest and today it just empties the bag of its contents and discards the bag

It DONT work. I got 12satchels from helloween patch last year & none item has been changed

Edit: You'll autoloot it anyway because you only have CP in (or you have a pet/scythe inside, but then u want to loot it anyway)

i had several argent tournament bags saved for same purpose and it didnt work niether with numerous patches nor with server transfer.
i do know it used to work but i guess it was hotfixed
