Farm ZG/ZA mounts easily by only queueing to one of them.

I've found this method a few days ago with my ZA Bear group, and doing this allowed me to increase my profits considerably with my selling groups.

Basically, you can game the RFD tool by only "random" queueing into ZA or ZG, if so you choose.

You can do that by simply having a full cleared out raid lock for the instance you don't want to queue to. If you're in a group, the person with the cleared ID has to be the one that ques you.

Old trick, I know, people did that to avoid Oculus back in WotLK. The thing is, both ZA and ZG have rewards worth farming for (Bears or Panther/Raptor mounts), and they're separated into their own LFD category so a random queue would always go to one of them.

I've been testing this trick with my Bear group so I can sell some bears, and it worked every single time I've tried (did it at least 10 times before thinking about posting here). Just cleared a ZG (killed even Zanzil and Cache of Madness, just to be sure) and would keep extending the lock, that way I can effectively queue only to ZA every single time, as many times per day as I can.

I've tried searching for "raid id", "extend lock", "za mount", "zg mount", "zul'aman", "zul'gurub" with no mention to this, thus looked at the most recent posts on both Normal and Elite Exploit forums, so unless I massively ignored something I'm pretty sure this is the first post on this trick.

I'M NOT SURE IF THIS WORKS FOR ZG (killing Daakara so you only get ZG in your queues), BUT I CAN 100% CONFIRM THIS WORKS FOR ZA. Just make sure you don't kill any of the end bosses (Zanzil/Jin'do or Malacrass/Daakara) on the instance you want to keep queueing over and over.

Thanks for your time reading this. Hope you people find this useful.

I'm not sure if I 100% understand the post but...

If I run ZG in the morning. Then in the afternoon I use the random queue while saved to ZG, it CAN still give ZG again. It's Random.

Time frame is irrelevant. It doesn't matter when - as long as you have the last boss in ZG dead, you'll only get ZA via LFD. Just make sure you don't kill everything in ZA.

I tried making the thread as clear and specific as I could =\ english isn't my first language.

Should I get a lotto ticket?

I suggest everyone who's saying "boo incorrect" to just give it a try. You may get surprised.

From experience I know this doesn't work, nice try at attempting though!

I've had similar results to the OP, on three different occasions.

    1. 4 players unsaved to either, 1 player saved to the first boss in ZG.

Results: ZG 8 times in a row.

    2. 5 players saved to ZA full clear.

Results: ZG 7 times in a row.

    3. 5 players saved half-cleared ZG.

Results: ZG 12 times in a row.

Unless this is completely by chance, which seems completely unlikely, I think the OP is correct.

I've also queued other times with people saved to ZG, seem to get ZG every time.

The three above were just when I was asked to help with a ZA bear run and we queued for a random multiple times over the course of a few hours.

While there's obviously a programmed bias under certain conditions I have gotten the full cleared instance whilst not even touching the other queuing.

I believe it was put in to stop people farming the same instance over and over again (The one you are saved to).

Okey, I've done this a few times aswell. The dungeon finder will always put you in ZA if you have cleared ZG that day and refuse to fully complete ZA which means if you do ZG today and then you get ZA, if you keep leaving ZA before you kill last boss you will ALWAYS get ZA.So when I needed some item from a boss in ZG after having him killed I just leave instance, rejoin que and I will 100% get ZG ! This IS working.

OP's post is a wall of text, but I believe his post is boiled down to:

    1. Have FULL 100% CLEAR of ZG

    2. Group leader extends ZG raid lock

    3. Queue random zazg.

    4. Get ZA as your run.

This is the method my group used for our bear runs, you can even just force queue ZA. Once you're in kill the first four bosses, after you get your bear just random queue for the troll dungeons and you'll get the instance again.

If you do not clear your instance and you random while inside it it will put you back inside the same instance. Used and tested over 25 times.

had the same thing happen when trying to farm bear, we cleared ZA, queued and got ZG, did 2 bosses waiting for the queue timer, then got ZG again, and again, and again, after that we stopped.
