Infinite [Haunted Momento] Buff (even when it is still not in inventory)

Steal Acquire [Haunted Momento] Haunted Memento - Item - World of Warcraft
Once you obtain [Haunted Momento] you obviously have the buff and the spirit following you around.
then do this:

1. Relog (log out with the haunted momento on your person)
2. mail [Haunted Momento] to one of your alts
3. relog (after you mail the [Haunted Momento] buff and spirit go away)
4. When you log back in you have the buff and spirit again even without [Haunted Momento] in your inventory.

Haven't had time to see if this goes away upon entering a battleground or arena or if there is a limit of characters to replicate this on.

Enjoy your infinite buff/pet and trolllaxin!

From the 4chan style wording and everything I was going to cry out you are troll, but this actually works!

Confirmed as working, even after retrieving mail from my alt, relogged, still have the buff on main.

After closing the game entirely and opening again, I still have the buff.

The fact that you managed to misspell it 7 times even though there's a wowhead link with the right spelling just makes me grin.
The only way to "obtain" that item is to borrow it from your friend or buy it off AH.

It's still an exploit, regardless of his spelling.

I am amazed people even bother posting exploits on this forum as so many people just gun them down every-damn-time.

Don't be jelly cuz u didn't get it at an earlier point(magnets for faster acquiring)
the point is you supposedly don't need to keep [Haunted Momento] / keep [Haunted Momento] on one character to keep the buff / keep [Haunted Momento] on one character to keep the spirit

I glanced through it before - all I did was use a different style of writing and contributed at the same time. Apparently it still annoys people to no end after the obvious is pointed out, thus a very successful contribution by my record.
