Guaranteed Tol Barad spot!

So basically my first exploit posted, and I do consider this an exploit, if anyone wishes to argue about this I'd be happy to reply further or have this topic moved to guides.

Basically me and 2 mates (let's give credit where it's due) found a way to get into TB guaranteed on each fight, win or defense, even when coming in late, after the fight started. We have been using this for a long time but I didn't really tought it was worth to make it public but I heard from other mates that the bridge-leech doesn't work anymore so here we go.

Edit: It has been brought to my attention that this ONLY works on EU realms
Note: I have looked for earlier versions of this, but couldn't find it, so if it's a repost please give me a link to the original topic.

How to do it

1) Make sure you are NOT queued, being queued for bg's has caused no problems so far, but DON'T be queued for the battle of Tol Barad.

2) Make sure the fight has started, wether you're attacking or defending doesn't matter.

3) Run onto the bridge, and run back out. The first time a screen should pop up asking you if you want to join the battle for Tol Barad, which you ignore. When you run out the first time, the popupwindow will disappear and another will pop up saying "You have exited the fight for Tol Barad".

4) Ignore the "exited"-screen, and run back in, the "do you want to join" will pop up again. Again, ignore the hell out of it!

5) This is where the boring part starts, you just run back out and in, and keep doing this, not too fast tho, as you are waiting for a certain screen to pup up. The speed of doing this does not matter, the timing does, but you can't know the right timing in advance.

6) A certain moment, you will run in and back out, and if you timed this perfectly, you will get a popup with the "Do you want to join the fight" again, but this time WITH a 21 second counter, counting down. Press enter on this, and welcome to the fight to Tol Barad. The "you have exited" will still be present, but you can just click it away.

As you can see on the screenshots, It works quite quickly most of the time, tho sometimes it takes a while of running in and out before it works. Our theory for this is that you force yourself first spot in the queue at the exact moment an alliance joins the fight aswell, but ofcourse we have no idea.

Edit: as it has been pointed out, useless on servers where your faction is outnumbered and you have instant queues. On my server however, loads of people queue up on my side without getting in. I did this while lots of my friends were queued up and I passed them all in the queue using this trick.

Ah, sorry, forgot to add that. My server is heavily populated on horde, about 10 to 1 i guess. There are massive queues for our side, and as i'm in a pure pvp guild loads of guildies are queued for it mostly. You pass all the others that have been in the queue for ages, this does NOT work as intended.

tehvoyager: major difference here is you are NOT queued, while everyone else running in and out IS queued, which prevents you from hopping first place into the list since ur already queued...

Tol Barad queues do not work on a "first come, first served" basis - this is common knowledge. You can queue up long before a fight, or after it has started, and it will make no difference. So yes: working as intended.

Tol Barad queues do not work on a "first come, first served" basis - this is common knowledge. You can queue up long before a fight, or after it has started, and it will make no difference. So yes: working as intended.

Funny how you said this, and I mean that in the most respectful of manners. A guildie of mine offered the exact same explanation.
I, however, thought this through, and you need to realise, that saying this is simply a matter of sheer luck, you're saying it's the same chance of me being in the queue and getting picked.
However, I have tens of guildies who queued for battles, and never got an invite, tho using my method I NEVER failed to get in so far, and we're talking 40-50 battles here.

My guildie I mentioned tho didn't give up, he was convinced this was working as intended, and challenged me. We would both wait for the battle to start, after which he would queue and unqueue constantly through the actual queueing-system, and I would use my method, and we put some money on our words. I started running, and it took a while, but after a minute or so I got into the fight, while he was convinced of his method, and spent about 15+ minutes queueing and de-queueing in order to get in, in which he failed... So I found myself 2k richer and convinced of my theory.

But if this IS still just common sense, even though I doubt it (no other method has had a 100% succesrate so far for me), I stated at the beginning of my post that any mod could freely move my topic to guides.

I heard something similar before. but believed that it was rumor and did not try to do it for a long time. Today I tried to do it 15 minutes and did not get the any result. So with complete confidence I can say that it does not work.

Could you please tell me wether you are on US or EU serv? Since I've been using this succesfully for over a month now and can't really see any other explanation

Confirmed (EU). This works everywhere around TB, not just the bridge. Just walk/swim in and out until you can join the battle. Used to do this for a long time to get my toons into battle...

Good to read it getting confirmed on EU. Sorry to all US players out there. As for the repost, the other thread does seem a little chaotic and judging from responses I got I'd say some people have no clue about this, but any mod can feel free to lock it as it IS a repost after all. (I searched for it though, no idea why I didn't find the other post :s)
