Mass ammounts of XP lvl 48+

Found this while leveling.

Now im not sure if this quest is alliance only but this quest right here

Chiselgrip, the Heart of the Steppes - Quest - World of Warcraft = horde

You get an NPC that will deal fire damage to any one you are in combat with. Now im playing on a hunter, so i literally ran around in circles for an hour just using serpent sting to tap mobs and this NPC would shoot his flare at them and one shot them.

This quest is located in Burning Steps once you hit level 48 and do the 6 or 7 so quests before it.

Working as intended???
Exploit????

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

EDIT: He will also follow you around the zone and kill other mobs, not just the quest mobs too.

You link horde quest and you say you're not sure if it's alliance only

update: also works with the quest " [Morgan's Vigil]" wich you will get later on down the quest chain.

How much per hour?

Leveling a druid and might do this

i grinded out just over half a lvl in about 15 minutes. i went AFK'd on facebook for like a half hour and tabbed back in to the NPC still standing next to me.. so he doesnt despawn. could easily get a lvl or so in 25 minutes or less if you keep pulling adds.

classes i would suggest use this are:
frost mage
BM Hunter
Warlock
Prot Paladin
Prot Warrior

i've got 2 raf mages on level 46 which i could get to that area to give it a try...i'll post back

This is a bit over exaggerated. With my prot pally, i noticed the damage increase, but it wasn't one shot.

I found dungeons to be faster.. tank que tho

this is meant to get you a quick 2 levels or so in less then 45 minutes. try it out for your selfs. all you have to do is just tap a bunch of mobs and this guy will kill it

I tried this while leveling another paladin but found questing in the zone to be much quicker instead.

I'm only 31 atm, hoping to reach 48~ tomorrow to test this out, if it works I´d be nice, tho I think 2 levels on 45 mins isnt mass xp tho. Btw did you use any BoA items? Head/Chest/Shoulders/Cloak?
