Have a big conquest cap SOON as you hit 85!

Well...this is pretty darn simple and I found this out by mistake. I lvld a druid from 1-85 but when I hit 70 me and my friend had enough honor to get full brutal set so we bought it and did some games to break from leveling and we got 1.7k rated..We got achievements and everything. then we moved on and lvl'd when we was lvl 75 we noticed we still had the arena team and it was still 1.7k rated so we thought maybe it would go away when we hit lvl 80 but it did not...then we reached 85 and we was still on the arena team and it was 1.7k rated and we were lvl 70 when we made the team and did arena on it. but now we are both lvl 85 in greens and 1.7k rated and a higher conquest cap to gear faster.

So you can level a toon if you really wanted to lvl 70 hit 2k rating or w/e and move on to lvl 85 so you would have a higher conquest cap soon as you hit lvl 85

The title says honor cap but your "exploit(?)" goes about conquest cap.
1. Lvl to 70
2. Play arena till 2k rating
3. Lvl to 85
4. Wait out till its wednesday so your conquest cap increases
5. Profit 1st week having a cap of like 2100 or something and then drop back to 1300 ?

It is nice what you did there, but not an exploit, right?

Themaster you love to flame post, read the edit, and also once you are 2k rated or w/e you get to it wont go back down unless you make it go back down by losing, you can stay 2k rated on ur 2s team if you want and farm points on a 3s team until you got decent gear then you can start playing the 2s team and get it 2k+ rated w/o all the grinding of 1-2000 rated

And for exploit...Yes it is a exploit, last time I checked a exploit is anything thats not intended that you can use for an advantage.

You could do 3v3, 5v5 or rated bg's and you still have a conquestpointscap from about 2300 weekly

I think you need at least 1 match played in the team or your conquest cap will go back to crap. Not that it makes much of a difference and I'm not a 100% but thought you guys would like to know!

I am sorry that you see my criticism as flaming/trolling or what so ever. Besides that when i opened the thread there was no edit (else i wouldn't post that comment) and yes what i meant with going from 2100 to 1300 is by losing because of the lack of proper gear (since cata is about huge numbers and CC... Mages)

I can confirm this. You must do one match with an arena team per week to get it's cap the next week.

Yes that is possible and this is doable in the 80 or 70 arena bracket...You couldn't get gladiator because you can only get gladiator in 3v3 now and the Q times are terrible in the lvl 70 and 80 bracket and also it would be like 1 point a win from 2000-2500 with 20-30 minute qs.

Im sorry but how is this an expoit? Your arena teams wont disband by leveling up, which as far as i know is not an exploit?

Besides, you need to acturally WIN the battles to get points, meaning that if you're at 2k+ rating or whatever and you're only in greens, you're most 99.9% sure that you're gonna drop WAYYY down before you start winning anything, making the next weeks point very low. As the Conquest cap is based on personal rating and not team rating as far as i know?


Nice thinking though.. But imo, not an exploit
