Keep 2 extra sockets when you drop Blacksmithing

You keep the 2 extra sockets when you drop Blacksmithing. Self-explanatory title lol.
I even unequipped/re-equipped the gear it is indeed permanent.

I found it out after dropping BS, and realized after leveling JC that my sockets still worked.Here's proof:

You keep the sockets from dropping the profession but the bonuses in the additional socket remain inactive until you regain 400 in BS.

No, they are not active. I tried it before. The stat bonus does not show on your character screen.

The gem stats are **NOT ACTIVE** when you drop blacksmithing even though there's no longer red text saying socket requires 400 BS. You should check your character sheet. However, it is worth noting that if you have JC gems in the inactive sockets, it still counts as 1 of the 3 max gems equipped. What's worse is that once you drop blacksmithing, you can no longer change gems in that socket. Luckily, you now only need level 1 blacksmithing for the inactive sockets to be active again, rather than having to re-level it to 400. I speak from experience.
